CWC Board changes meeting date to save travel, time

MARGARETVILLE, NY, Dec. 9, 2008 - The Catskill Watershed Corporation Board of Directors has changed the regular date and time of its monthly meetings to the first Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m.

Meetings are held at the CWC office, 905 Main Street, Margaretville, Delaware County and are open to the public.

The Board, which had met on the fourth Tuesday of each month, will now convene on the same day that all of the CWC’s committee meetings are held. This will reduce the time Board members will spend traveling to meetings, as well as fuel used to drive from their homes to Margaretville an extra day a month. The CWC will save an estimated $10,000 a year in travel expense reimbursements to Board members.
